Once a demand forecast is available, the next task is to plan — under the limited
resources of an agent and a van-seller — which outlets to visit, at what frequency,
and in what order. The second part of this three-part series proposes a three-stage
conceptual model that combines ABC segmentation of outlets, demand-forecast–
based visit prioritization, and route optimization (the traveling salesman problem,
TSP). Evaluation metrics for the model (coverage, route length, number of visits) are
described; empirical verification is intended on real data.
